A Downtown Vegas Elopement: Kiera & Dylan’s Vegas Wedding Story
In September 2022, I photographed Kiera and Dylan’s incredible Las Vegas elopement! The pair flew all the way from Australia with their loved ones to experience marriage Vegas style! The two said 'I do' in downtown Las Vegas' electric atmosphere. We started the day at the MGM Hotel, where they got ready together—calm, joyful, and in love. Dylan even helped Keira with her finishing touches. There's nothing more special than a bride and groom getting ready together for the biggest day of their life! It was beautiful to see them share quiet moments before everything truly began to unfold. Talk about romance, baby!
Their ceremony took place in the Glass Garden's at the iconic Chapel of The Flowers, surrounded by twenty-five loved ones. Click here to view the Chapels stunning Venues for ceremonies! Keira even had Elvis walk her down the isle. Though far from home, their guests made the day feel warm, close-knit, and incredibly meaningful.
The bridal portraits began at the colorful Fremont Street Bridge, capturing that true Vegas vibe. From neon lights to graffiti walls, we explored downtown with every shot full of character. Their guests joined in for some fun photos—nothing too posed, just pure happiness and love to show their personalities. After walking through crowed streets we headed up to a casino rooftop for what would be some of my favorite moments with their crew. The city skyline behind them made for one of the most stunning backdrops of the day! It was so epic to capture downtown Vegas from above the streets.
It was a night filled with joy, adventure, and the kind of love that feels effortless. Elopements like this remind me why I love capturing stories that are personal and unscripted. Kiera and Dylan made Vegas their own, turning the desert heat and the chaos of Fremont street into something truly romantic. Their day was proof that intimate weddings can be just as powerful as grand ones (Especially when your favorite people can travel across the entire globe for your big day!) From start to finish, it was a dream to document their love in such a unique setting. After the Chapel of The Flowers ceremony and Downtown Vegas portraits, they finally headed to the Venetian for a sweet, intimate reception celebration at the Venetian Canaletto. They cut their cake in style, surrounded by laughter, champagne, and the people that matter most! Thanks to Keira & Dylan for trusting me with capturing such a special day.
